College Research Project

Old tech, new tech, all tech: A democratic approach to giving voice to student college research

During this research project, students used the Navience Platform to research their assigned colleges. Students were also able to use the college's website to gather information about their colleges. All students were required to create a Google Slides presentation. In addition to the Google Slides presentation, groups were required to create a movie, presentation board, booklet and a song, rap or game.

Presentation After creating their artifacts, students then were assigned advisories with whom to present to. Students were assessed using a habits of mind rubric evaluating their precision of expression relevance, innivation, democracy in voice and choice and evidence. Students must show PRIDE in their work.
